3.5.2 Released

December 14, 2020—Product Files, HTTP Security Headers, and More!

SoftSlate Commerce 3.5.2 Released

SoftSlate is pleased to announce the release of the latest version of SoftSlate Commerce, version 3.5.2. For a complete list of changes between 3.5.1 and 3.5.2 visit the Change Log. The highlights include:

Product File 'Attachments'

  • Administrators now have the ability to upload files under each Product - such as installation instructions or owner's manuals - and have those displayed to users on the product page for download.
  • To add File Attachments, in the Administrator under a Product, click the More tab, then "File Attachments".
  • On the public-facing product page, the files will appears in a list under a new tab called "Files".

Configurable HTTP Security Headers

  • Ability to configure a Content Security Policy header (content-security-policy) and a Frame Options header (x-frame-options) for all responses returned by the application.
  • To enable this feature after upgrading, follow the steps in the Release Notes
  • Configure the headers on the Security Settings -> Security Headers screen.

Order Shipping Rules Interface

  • Administrators can now view and manage the Shipping Rules that were applied to an Order. To see the shipping rules, click the Shipping Rules tab under each Order.

Tiny MCE Fix

  • Version 3.5.2 also includes a fix for Administrators using the Tiny MCE editor to edit rich text fields.

Upgrading From 3.5.1 to 3.5.2:
